Silas Wright Jr. Letters Project Underway

I am now working on a compilation of the letters of Silas Wright Jr., 1795-1847.

Wright was a Senator and Governor from New York State, and his letters are an excellent source of historical information on both politics and society.

I have completed a first draft, gathering letters from over a dozen archives. However, proofreading and notes will prevent publication in the near future.
